Some Might Say

7. SOME MIGHT SAY (N. Gallagher)
WRITTEN: Chiswick, London (FM949 - Sep 14 2005)
DEMO: Confirmed. In circulation.
RECORDED: Loco, South Wales, Feb 95 (DM singles box-set booklet)
COMMENTS: It was the first song I ever wrote when I moved to London and it was inspired by listening to The Faces. Alan McGee wanted the A-side to be Acquiesce because he didn´t think Some Might Say sounded like a number one. He´s a great man but his one fault is that he has absolutely no idea how to pick singles. As soon as I´d written Some Might Say I was absolutely certain it would be a number one and I was right. I never had even the slightest doubt. (noel - DM singles box-set booklet)
OTHERS: Drums by Tony McCarroll
LIVE (BAND) DEBUT: Cliffs Pavilion, Southend - 17th April 1995

live 1996

RECORDED: Maine Road, Manchester - 28th April 1996
OTHERS: Mixed by Owen Morris.
